Taught by Marivette Torres, Professional Rebozo Instructor
What is a Rebozo?
The Rebozo is a traditional Mexican shawl which is long enough to wrap around a pregnant person's body. It has been used for centuries by midwives to help people find comfort and support during the birthing process. It is used to engage the partner in the birth process and is an extension of the labor partner's arms.
This workshop is designed to give you several hours of hands-on training so you may fully incorporate the Rebozo and gain confidence in using it during labor and birth.
It is NOT intended to learn any midwifery skills.
This workshop will help your partner be fully involved in the birth journey with you!
